Kanga Schools: A Week of Learning, Culture, and Identity

Event Overview

At the Kanga Educational Foundation, we remain dedicated to providing high-quality educational services aimed at developing the mother tongue and preserving Kurdish national identity.
This week, our Kurdish schools hosted dynamic and productive sessions, where students engaged in a modern learning environment covering essential topics, including:
• Kurdish Alphabet & Grammar: Building a strong linguistic foundation.
• Poetry & Anthems: Connecting with the soul of Kurdish literature.
• Kurdish Calendar: Learning the names and meanings of the months.
• History of Nawroz: Exploring the significance of the Kurdish New Year.
These activities were successfully conducted across all Kanga branches:
📌 Nishtiman, Piramerd, Ibrahim Amin Baldar, Zhina, and Zara Schools.
🌐 Kobane Online Lines: Reaching students through our digital learning platforms.
We believe that the mother tongue is the core of our identity. Our mission continues—to serve the Kurdish community in the UK and beyond by passing our rich heritage to future generations.
